Veer (campaign) is a non-profit campaign and clothing brand launched in Gurugram, India.[1][2] Campaign was launched by Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation with American India Foundation.[3]

History[edit]

Veer was launched in July, 2014 at Gurugram, Haryana.[4]

Activities[edit]

The campaign supports the physically challenged (PwDs) to provide them education and employment.[5] They collaborated with Indian government's Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to provide skill training to over 500,000 PwDs.[6]

Clothing label[edit]

A new method of fund raising was launched by Veer in which they will sell clothes sewed and stitched by women in villages to collect funds for their use. This will enable them to be independent and self-sufficient.
