Zip Us In is a British manufacturer and retailer of unique clothing expansion products. The company is based in England, United Kingdom.[1] In 2018, it launched Universal Panel, a patent pending product that features a fixing to attach an expander panel to any zipper.[2] Zip Us In products are available in 40 Go Outdoors stores across the UK as well as on Amazon across Europe, USA and Canada.[3][4]

History[edit]

Zip Us In was founded in 12 September 2014 by Kate Bell.[2] In February 2013 on a cold visit to Weymouth, Kate Bell discovered she had hit the point in pregnancy where her increasing belly would no longer fit in to her jacket. It was on this day that Kate realised that somewhere in the big wide world must be an item that could just expand her own jacket.[5]

Later, she turned her this idea into entrepreneurship and registered the patent for it.[6] With the help of social media, her business grew rapidly and now her products are being sold in 32 countries via high street stores, small independent retailers, online shops and Amazon.[7]
