Engr. Babalola Olatunji (born September 20,1968) is a Nigerian Engineer of Hydrogeology. He is a fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers. He is currently the Executive Director of Engineering Ogun Oshun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA)[[River Basin Authorities in Nigeria#The river basin authorities|River Basin Authorities in Nigeria.[1], he served in government as liaise between members of national assembly and OORBDA on all Engineering related matters[2].
He is married to Mrs Tina Isioma Olatunji.
Olatunji was born in Lagos State, he is from Agosasa in Ipokia local government Area of Ogun state according to a popular news post by Agric focus news blog. He had his primary Education at Nawarudeen primary school Agosasa in 1978 and his secondary Education at Federal Government college Odogbolu, Sagamu. He later got admission at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) in 1992 to study Mining engineering. Babalola Olatunji graduated from FUTA in 1997, and furthered his masters degree also in FUTA to study Environmental engineering.
Career[edit]
He was appointed as maintenance Engineering at comfort Engineering limited, Abeokuta between 1998-2001, soon after he left the company and joined OORBDA . He served as Assistant chief Engineer between 2011-2014 in Borehole mining drilling, Olatunji wrote with few authors on evaluation of technical and financial bids according to a eprint published by [1], at the beginning of 2014 he became the Chief Engineer of Hydrogeology with specification of OORBDA . He was also Assistant Director , Deputy Director and Acting Deputy Director from 2015 -2019. He became the Executive director of OORBDA in 2019 and was appointed as the acting managing director of OORBDA 2021 News in Nigeria in 2021 [2][3]. He has been the chairman of Inukonu community of Adigbe, [4]
