Blurr is a recurring fictional character in the Transformers franchise, primarily depicted as a swift blue Autobot who transforms into a fast car. In the American versions of several series, he is voiced by John Moschitta, Jr., known for being the world's fastest talker.

Blurr is the fastest Autobot on land, known for his high-speed messenger role and extremely fast-speaking mannerisms. Despite his nervous streak, he is a loyal warrior. As a Targetmaster, he is paired with Haywire. Forbes named Blurr the fastest fictional car in 2008.
Animated series[edit]
Blurr debuted in The Transformers: The Movie and continued in the TV series as an ally of Rodimus Prime. He is often seen with Wheelie or Wreck-Gar, providing comic relief. Notable appearances include "Five Faces of Darkness" and "The Return of Optimus Prime". In the Japanese series Transformers: The Headmasters, Blurr did not become a Targetmaster and was portrayed as stuttering.

Comics[edit]
Blurr has appeared in various comics, including Dreamwave Productions and IDW Publishing series. In Marvel Comics, he played a significant role in the UK stories, often time-traveling with Hot Rod and Kup.

Blurr (Silverbolt in Japan) is a brave officer and veteran of many battles. He is portrayed as a snob but becomes friends with Hot Shot. He survives the series-ending battle against Unicron.

Blurr is a retired race champion who teaches rookie Transformers how to race. He can run at speeds exceeding the speed of sound and is the fastest Velocitronian racer on two legs.

Blurr is the fastest Autobot, capable of traveling on his feet-wheels in robot mode and driving up walls. He first appears in "Velocity" and returns in the season two finale "A Bridge Too Close". He is an intelligence agent for the Elite Guard and uses his speed to place stasis cuffs on Decepticons.

In the Transformers: Timelines series, Blurr is an evil alternate reality version of Generation 1 Blurr. He is soft-spoken but a fast thinker and capable warrior. He has the power to steal speed, slowing down others while increasing his own speed.

Blurr appears in Transformers: Rescue Bots as a Rescue Bot who transforms into a race car. He loves being fast but is extremely reckless and impatient.
Animated series[edit]
Blurr debuts in "The New Recruits". He and Salvage crash landed on Earth during a meteor shower. Blurr was the pilot of the ship and is revealed to have abandoned Salvage to try and go home.

Animated series[edit]
Blurr's only appearance is in the episode Terminal Velocity. He meets up with Hot Rod and Bumblebee on Velocitron and helps them escape the Plague of Rust, ultimately sacrificing himself to save them.
