Kishore Jayaraman is the President for Rolls-Royce India and South Asia, including Defence, Power Systems and Civil Aerospace businesses.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Early life and education[edit]

Kishore Jayaraman was born in Chennai, India in the year 1965. Currently, he is based in New Delhi, India.[7][8][9]

Kishore graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangalore Institute of Technology. Later he pursued Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA, following which he pursued a Management Degree from University of Georgia, Athens.[10][10]

Career[edit]

Kishore Jayaraman started his career with GE Drive Systems as a Process Models Design Engineer and served in multiple roles across markets for a tenure spanning 23 years. In his last position at GE, he was the President and CEO of GE Energy, South Asia.[11][10][12][13][14]

Kishore has been driving strategic focus and significant expansion across the Rolls-Royce's Defence, Civil Aerospace and Power Systems businesses.[15][9] He is responsible for driving forward the Group's business activities in India and strengthening its position in the wider region, focusing on business, governance and control.[16][17][18][19][20][21][15][1] He is a proponent of technology innovation and has led the establishment of Rolls-Royce's digital and engineering capabilities in India which is now contributing to global development projects.[22][23]

Kishore has been representing Rolls-Royce at key industry connect platforms such as NASSCOM's virtual roundtable with the British High Commissioner to India on bilateral trade engagement between India and UK in the post Brexit era, and CII Manufacturing Conclave. He has participated as a speaker at webinars organised by major industry bodies including FICCI, CII, NASSCOM, etc. He also addressed a webinar organised jointly by Government of UK's Department for International Trade (DIT) and Indian industry body CII on 'Design in UK, Manufacture in India'.[4][24][25][26]
