Kuiljeit Uppaal is an Indian image scientist.[1]
Biography[edit]
Born in New Delhi, Uppaal participated in music, dance and sports during her childhood. She is a Doctorate with three Masters degrees and multiple international certifications. Described as "always an over-achiever," she traversed various industries during her professional journey — including education, research , content and curriculum development, training, image management and information technology, as well as advertising and media.

Uppaal has spoken at Women Economic Forum (WEF) and Creative Women International Conference. She is the national president in the area of life skills for the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).[3][4]
On October 7, 2017, Uppaal was inducted into the Bharat Book of Word Records followed by Asia Book of Records and World Records India, as the world's first image scientist.[1][5] Two years later, she was announced as the recipient of the Genius Polymath of the Year at the 5th Genius Indian Achievers Awards, organized by the Genius Foundation, for her outstanding advances in the science of persona and image management (PRIM).[6]
As a scientist, researcher and academician she has invented PIQ and novel concepts in PRIM, written many research papers, book chapters and books. She has co-authored Entrepreneurship Education: Experiments with Curriculum, Pedagogy and Target Groups, a Springer publication that included her doctoral subject as part of management training for entrepreneurs Breakthrough, another book co-authored by her, apart from becoming the online store's best-seller, has also been used in corporate houses and organizations as a motivational book for professionals and aspirants.
Uppaal is the Founder & CEO of Krea, her training and consultancy firm. She spends her free time working with poor children.[2]
