Millat Times is an Indian online news portal founded by Shams Tabrez Qasmi, a Indian journalist and an executive member of the Press Club of India. The primary objective of Millat Times is to highlight issues that are often ignored by mainstream media and big news television channels. Millat Times has millions of readers and viewers, and its programs such as Khabar Dar Khabar, Khas Mulaqat, Ground Reports, Public Opinions, Saday-e-Naujawan, Special Reports, and Interviews are hugely popular on YouTube.[2] [3]
Establishment[edit]
Millat Times is a multi-language news publication that was established in Mumbai on January 18, 2016, by Maulana Rabey Hasani Nadwi, the ex-president of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and the rector of Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow.[4][5] The newspaper was founded with the aim of providing accurate and impartial news coverage of local, national, and international events.[6][7]
Other Portals and Channels[edit]
In addition to its main publication, Millat Times has launched numerous news portals and YouTube channels to cover local news and provide informative content.
One such portal is Mewat Times, an online news portal and YouTube channel edited by Md. Sufiyan. Mewat Times provides coverage of news and events from the Mewat region of Haryana and Rajasthan.[8]
Another local news portal launched by Millat Times is Sitamarhi Times, which was started by late Md. Qaisar Siddiqui. After his sudden demise, it is now being edited by Mohd Meraj and Saqib Raza under the directorship of Ms. Shamsheeda Khatoon. Sitamarhi Times provides coverage of news and events from the Sitamarhi district of Bihar.[9]
For historical and informative videos, Millat Times runs another YouTube channel called The History Point. The channel provides engaging and informative videos on a range of historical topics, including the history of India, Islam, and other civilizations.
Urdu Talk is another YouTube channel of Millat Times, which publishes videos on Urdu literature. The channel is edited by Rizwan Khalid and provides a platform for Urdu literary enthusiasts to discuss and analyze literary works.

Founder and CEO[edit]
Millat Times was founded by Shams Tabrez Qasmi, who currently serves as its CEO. Qasmi is a prominent journalist in India and has a Fazilat degree from Darul Uloom Deoband, as well as bachelor's and master's degrees from Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi.[1][12]
