Mugaiyur Magimai Madha Church is a Roman Catholic, Mugaiyur, situated in Villupuram district, Tamil Nadu, India. Mugaiyur Magimai Madha Church,[1] Mugaiyur has been recognized as a Parish under Diocese of Pondicherry.

History[edit]

Mugaiyur is one of the 125 years oldest Christian Missionary in Northern Tamil Nadu.Patron saint is St. Xavier. It was built in the 18th century. As per the record in 1884, the rock type church was built. It is one among the oldest church in the Pondichery diocese.

Rev.Fr. Pitchai Muthu built the new school building.
