The Tiruchirappalli Local Planning Authority (TLPA) is a nodal planning agency for the Tiruchirappalli Metropolitan Area and its suburbs of Indian state of TamilNadu.[1] Local Planning Authority for Tiruchirappalli was created on 5 April 1974 as per the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act of 1971.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

The Tiruchirappalli Local Planning Authority administers the Tiruchirappalli Metropolitan Area, its suburbs and some of Town Panchayats and Panchayat Unions of Tiruchirappalli.[8][9][10]
