Maltha (formerly, Malta) is one of several unincorporated communities in Kern County, California.[1] It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 3.25 miles (5.2 km) north of downtown Bakersfield,[2] at an elevation of 453 feet (138 m).[1]
