Ariunbold Ganbold (born June 1, 2001, in Erdenet) is a Mongolian pop singer and songwriter, known by his stage name davaidasha.[1] The meaning of his stage name is derived into style from Mongolian name Davaadash. Starting from 2020, he started working independently in Bedroom pop and emo rap trends. His song "Huuhdiin Togloom" was posted for the first time on his SoundCloud profile. In 2021, he started to attract the attention with his single video "Yag Cham Shig". After, he released the single video "Chi chin Neeree" on his YouTube channel, which has received 7.4 million views to date.[2]
Early life[edit]
Ariunbold is the eldest child in a family of 6 children. He enrolled Tsaihun-Gegee school in 2008 and graduated in 2020. He has been practicing hip-hop street dance for 8 years since the 5th grade. This had a profound effect on his approach to music. He was also good at composing poetry at a young age and learned to play the guitar at the age of 17, which became one of the foundations of songwriting.[3]

2017-2020[edit]
He started recording his first song in 2017 with his friend in the studio of Erdenet city, where he was born. Since then, he has gained a number of followers by posting songs on his SoundCloud page, and his first official single was "Shunaltai Nud". In 2020, he released "Aesthetic" unofficial album of 9 songs on his SoundCloud during COVID-19 pandemic.[2]
2021-2022[edit]
In 2021, he released his song "Yag Cham Shig" from the unofficial album "Aesthetic" on his YouTube channel with an edited video containing clips from popular Japanese anime.[4] In the same year, Davaidasha established his own recording studio, which was a key for active production. He released the songs "Aladdin", "Chi chin Neeree", "Temtruul", "Nuurnii Budag", "Yroso" in 2021 and "Udaa Daraa", "Hervee Bid" songs in 2022. Davaidasha has announced that they are working on their first official EP to be completed by the end of 2022.[4]
