Reviews[edit]

Among Jersey Beat editor Paul Silver's favorite tracks on At the Movies are The Clydes' version of "Your Mother Should Know," which he describes as "nice and jangly, reasonably true to the original, though a bit faster and with more jangle[,] the organ breaks from the original become huge, dark synth parts, giving a nice contrast," and Pixl-Visionary's cover of "Exit Music (for a film)" which he notes as being "probably the most different from the original than anything on [At the Movies;] the cover is an up-tempo 80s dance-goth sort of thing." He summarizes the review with saying "most are calm and sedating, a few are boisterous[,] all quite enjoyable, and not very many clinkers."[1]
