After several years, the label began signing local indie rock bands from New Jersey and gaining radio success.[1] The label is considered to be a "roster of some of the Garden State's most under-appreciated and challenging bands" by The Star-Ledger's Tris McCall.[2] Mint 400 Records has grown to include artists across the United States, Canada and Europe, in multiple genres. In addition to music, Mint 400 Records expanded its catalog with signing authors and producing audiobooks, under Mint 400 Books.[3] In 2019, there have been over eighty artists and musicians signed to Mint 400 Records.
