The Snizhne incident occurred on 13 August 2014, when according to members of the Russian presidential human rights council, shelling by Ukrainian artillery targeted a Russian military column killing or wounding 100–300 Russian troops and destroying numerous pieces of equipment.
Incident[edit]
On August 13, near Snizhne, Ukrainian Grad artillery opened fired on a column of trucks transporting ammunition bound for pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. According to two members of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation, this convoy was accompanied by Russian servicemen, of whom more than 100 were killed and about 300 wounded.[1]
