McLean Park is a sports ground in Napier, New Zealand, it has a capacity of 19,700. The ground have been hosted Test cricket since its first match in 1979 when New Zealand played Pakistan.[1] 10 Test matches have been played at the ground[2] along with 42 One Day Internationals (ODIs), the first of which was in 1983 when New Zealand played Sri Lanka.[3]

Pakistani batsman Asif Iqbal became the first man to score a Test century at McLean Park when he made 104 against New Zealand in 1979. Jesse Ryder's score of 201, made against India in 2009, remains the highest score seen at the ground, which is the only double century at the venue. There are 23 test centuries have been scored at the ground.[4]

Twenty one ODI centuries have been scored at McLean Park, the first by Englishman Chris Broad who scored 106 from 140 deliveries against New Zealand in 1988. The highest score achieved at the ground is 141 not out made by Australian maestro Ricky Ponting against England in 2005.[5]

Ross Taylor has scored 2 Test and 3 ODI centuries at McLean Park, which is highest by a player at the venue.
