List of international cricket centuries at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium
The Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium[1] is a cricket stadium in Khulna, Bangladesh. The ground staged its first Test in 2012 Bangladesh against West Indies.[2] The first One Day International at the ground was played in 2006 when Bangladesh played against Kenya.[3] The first Twenty20 International was played in 2006 between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.[4]
Bangladeshi batsman Abul Hasan became the first player to score a Test century at the ground when he made 113 against West Indies in maiden test at the venue in 2012.[5] The highest Test score of the ground was scored by West Indian Marlon Samuels, when he scored 260 runs against Bangladesh in the same match. The ground has witnessed three double centuries up to 2017. Up to July 2017, eleven Test centuries have been scored in this ground.
The ground has witnessed 2 ODI centuries until its first ODI. The first of these was made by the Bangladeshi opener Shahriar Nafees in 2006 against Zimbabwe in 2006.[6] Bangladeshi Anamul Haque scored the highest ODI score at the venue of 120 against West Indies in 2012.
A Twenty20 International century is yet to score at the venue.
